Using a gourd, clay, and paint... sometimes tail feathers.... a today"s rendition of a heirloom chicken breed is created. The gourds are weighted with sand...so, these are the only awesome chicks that don't run/ blow away! The flocks of feathered friends in the backyard are my models! Most are 10-12" tall.
